اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ 

O Allah! I ask you for Paradise and I seek refuge in You from Hell-Fire - Abu Dawud. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah 2/328.

How many of us complain about the Hellfire and concerns that why Allah ﷻ created it, its severe punishment and torture etc. but how many of us aware that Allah ﷻ made the Hellfire to pray for the believer(s) who seeks refuge in?

Brothers & Sisters, – Do U know both Paradise and Hellfire will make dua for you and for your protection? Listen to this Hadith:

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

"‏ مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ

 وَمَنِ اسْتَجَارَ مِنَ النَّارِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَتِ النَّارُ اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"‏حديث صحيح

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] said: 'Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times, Paradise will say: 'O Allah, admit him to Paradise.' And whoever seeks protection from Hell three times, Hell will say: 'O Allah, protect him from the Fire.'

Allah-o-Akbar! Brothers & Sisters, how long it will take to say these two supplications? Maybe 30 seconds or less…  and the reward by saying this dua is you will be protected from the hellfire, and you will be entering into the paradise. Subhana Allah!

What are these Dua… Say three times these supplications. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ - O Allah! I ask you for Paradise – alFirdouse – the highest level in Jannah.

And say three times اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ  - O Allah, save me from the fire (Jahannam) – Ajru walideena min-annar. And save our parents from the Fire.

When can I say this?

There is no such time, and you can say it anytime you want, maybe add this dua as part of your morning adkaar or during the sujood or before you say tasleem (assalamu alykum wa rahamthullah) in tashahhud -during the salah.

My Dear Brothers & Sisters, the Jannah and the Jahannam will make supplicate for you for your protection – Yes. By saying this duaa – Jannah will say Yaa Allah, admit him to Paradise and Jahannam will say Yaa Allah! protect him from the Fire. Allah-o-Akbar! Lets us all practice this duaa and may Allah grant us the success. ameen
